Mini Project Reveal!

I used a $3 paint sample to transform our wooden banister & spindles! The paint was Olympic Afternoon Tea.

As you can see, I decided against the white spindles in the end. My husband won this one...and rightfully so because the white test spindle looked way too country in our foyer. I have a future project that will transform our foyer outlets. Our foyer painter gave me his blessing so I'm going for it!

I may end up using the same brown paint on our kitchen cabinets. It has a metallic sheen to it and I. dig. it. I planned on adding some glossy coats of protection to the banister, but we'll see if that ever happens. I still have many touch ups before I can even think of that.

Happy Sunday!

I'm going to see No Strings Attached with my mom and grandma this afternoon. BUNCHA CRUNCH. YEA! POPCORN. YEA!
